Prepare for the worst and hope for the best guys if we haveto play the game.
....don't forget it Rotherham we're talking about here...........
Prepare for the worst and hope for the best guys if we haveto play the game.
It will be either that or points deductions if we aint already gonna get that
Well Roly this league is the shytehouse league mate .
Who honestly thinks Rotherham , Barnsley or Wycombe would have had half the points deduction reduced as that lot down the road did or get away with it altogether as Derby did .
The only reason they didn't find in favour of Wigan last season was because they weren't a big championship club .
I'll say one thing for our owners as much as I dislike em they defend the club in the strongest possible terms which is why the EFL thought twice about keeping Wigan up because if they had then our owners were going to take it to court over the Wednesday creative accounting .
There's little room for nice guys in the championship .
The club's hired one of the biggest shytehouses when he needs to be as HC I've seen , he doesn't much care how it gets done as long as it does .
Get the game off , play shytehousery if you have to because you can be sure the vast majority of this league would .
Too many millions of pounds not to .
Not sure why the game wasn’t put official that the game is called off when we announced the Boro game because we definitely shouldn’t be playing.
Seems common sense did a bypass
Yes 4 points out of the two games we missed would be good then of cause the three points when we eventually play Barnsley
Six games called off for Boxing Day plus there were also national league games called off, there’s five called off for 29th

Why would we get a points deduction???
We've done everything by the book. Starting with our club doctors contacting the appropriate people at the EFL. Unfortunate that the Derby County game was called off late but we've been liasing with Boro & Barnsley on a regular basis. Five members of staff to isolate before a decision is made on Monday. Hopefully the next round of tests come back negative.
We couldn't do more than what we've done, people's health and wellbeing comes first despite what some nob ends say at Derby.!
Well let me make up a scenario.
Let’s say player A has a test on a Wednesday that comes back positive on the Friday
So the result message is timed and dated on that date.
Then player A for some reason doesn’t tell club until the Saturday thus allowing no time to cancel the match Saturday morning.
So the EFL will be interested when the club knew about the test result (or earliest they could have known) and would want proof that the club didn’t deliberately leave it to the last minute.
I wonder what position in the table we would have to elevate to in order for the BBC to stop calling us 'Championship Strugglers' in their post match reports! I gonna say......a play off spot!
