I don't know what the long term affects will be on young people being alone.
But again we missed the boat, Covid cases began to rise with the reopening of schools in September, they should have been closed again then.
    I don’t agree totally Des.

Our generation learned properly by reading books etc.

If I was off school with an illness I had books pushed under my nose by my parents as soon as I was showing signs of reaching for the TV controls.

I read hugely as a kid, I loved books but these days if it hasn’t got a “swipe” facility most kids can’t be a r s e d.

This stuff about “social isolation” does my head in as well, most of them text their mate sat 6 feet away, they're losing the art of speech.

The younger members of my staff can barely string a coherent sentence together, having conversation with them is a nightmare.

We make too many excuses on behalf of the under 25’s these days, no wonder a significant number have the backbone of a Jellyfish 😫

This is a mind blowing concept, if only they'd mentioned this around the time they were banging on about people washing their hands thoroughly and on a regular basis. Parents eh, what chance have their little spreaders got?
