Certainly do. Never got much of break although he did play in that soul destroying league cup final.

When I was a kid Ray Potter seemed always to have the job with occasionally Tony Millington and Jock Wallace appearing.

John Wile and Alistair Robertson instructed Godden to stay on his line as they would deal with the high balls. Shot stopping was his forte.
1977-78 saw Godden become an ever-present, playing in 51 league and cup matches under Ronnie Allen and Ron Atkinson.
He didn’t miss a match until Tottenham away in November 1981 after a record 228 consecutive games.

I thought he was awful, among the worst we head. He didn't play many games for us thank god.
I went with my dad to a night game against United who had Charlton, Best and Law in the forward line.
The announcer said just one change for Albion, in place of Osborne, Sheppard.
I said to my dad shall we go home now?
We won 2-1 and Sheppard had the only good game I saw him have.
