On the other hand, isn’t Ross the one falling out with people on Twitter not long ago? He’s probably a bit ‘old skool’ for the modern game.
Also the statement on the club website is as short as could possibly be with no pleasantries such as thanks or best wishes for the future. Usually when anyone leaves there is typically a one liner along those lines at the end. Not in this case.

I noticed that as well. It would normally end with "We thank Mo for all his hard work and wish him well for the future". Instead, saying "We will be making no further comment" only pours fuel onto the social media fire.

He was cleary the bad cop of the duo but the "We will be making no further comment" really does suggest something serious has happened. Not what IB needs right now but maybe is a chance to get someone who really know this level.

Shocked by this and more than a little disappointing.

Hopefully this time the replacement won't be Greg Abbott.

So either Burch now becomes no.2 to an experienced manager announced in the coming days...... or........

A 23 year old we've never heard of with a distinguished career working with under 16s on the Isles of Scilly (where he is very well thought of) will be appointed as Burch's new assistant.

You don't get sacked for falling out. Gross misconduct?

Maybe he layed into some of the players and it went too far and he did something that couldn't be excused. Why are we such a disaster.

Thinking about it, it's a bit of a masterstroke. Sacrificial lamb for the baying disciples? Deflect the crap being thrown at IB, if we don't make the PO's it was MR's fault, if we do it proves IB was the right man for the job. Win, win!
