I’m sure it was the family who saw their inheritance slipping away was was the underlying issue.

Yes roly I've read it and Ken Booth came across very well in the Breck book, and as has already been said, I also believe it was his family that was the problem. UTM

Not a fan of Ken but like some have said he sanctioned some good loans. Remember he bought the club for a few pence in the pound when RUFC was in administration. It became part of C.F.Booth Ltd and was a good way to water down the tax bill.....allegedly of course. How many on here have been in Millmoor with a good crowd in only to be announced a few 1000's less.........strange init???? Many said they used to see Phil Henson with the famous brown envelope......allegedly of course.....

A wedge under the foot peddle operating the turnstiles? Amazing how that creates extra income for the operator...allegedly.

There was a story I heard which alleged uncle Ken was chatting away to the then Chairman of Bradford City (we were playing away at Valley Parade and one of Henson's many roles was to ferry the old man up and down the country to watch us). Booth asked the BCFC chairman, "so which which one is YOUR turnstile?".

Not sure if this has been mentioned but in the extended interview with Tone this week he was asked if there had ever been an enquiry from another club for PW or any of his backroom staff.

    No, never

Which is exactly what I meant with the Scarborough warning. Journo said about that being a good thing and TS responded that loyalty goes both ways and that ultimately we failed and that promotion is the desire.

To me that's a pretty clear statement.
