"Very decent winger" ? That'll be Aaron Lennon

England international, loads of experience, SD rates him, the lad looks fit; seriously Alto, I have seen us do dafter things under SD.

And its still daft and as usual smacks of "The Burnley Way"

But it does Not improve the starting 11, it just boosts the numbers which is what we was doing initially when we first got him from Everton as he hardly made us any better from a so called wingers point, and little more in every other aspect apart from tracking back again again and again.

So in summing up if we do sign him on again, nothing has changed in that we are static in not moving forward and some would say its actually a step backwards (again).

I know money is probably hard to come by, but the longer we keep putting sticking plasters on the first 11, the harder it will be later especially if or when we lose our PL status.

I think our starting 11 is fairly robust Alto, it's numbers we need to "fill the bench". Personally, I would like to see this berth filled by young Richardson, but perhaps SD will look to experience rather than a rookie.

CiB quipped we may be looking towards staying up with the oldest EPL squad ever. Maybe he is right.

Well CiB will certainly be half right, we'll have the oldest PL squad ever, it's the other half, the staying up bit, I'm not sure about.

    Keeper - crocked
    Right back - crocked
Centre back - could leave at any point in next 2 weeks
Centre mid - slow like a cart horse
Right mid - spends more time horizontal on a treatment table than playing football that’s for sure
Left wing - could be leaving at any point next 2 weeks
Forwards - 1 is crocked and alcoholic
    Forward 2 - ageing quickly

That’s a little shaky for me in a robust 11 tbh.

    This should have read Alto
    Very decent winger (2005 / 2010 inclusive ).
Then it would have been accurate.
