Cheers guys .... it's gettin tae that excitin part o' the year .... the brambles are ripenin, the elderberries will follow
... my two favourite wine ingredients. Hopefully Ah can improve on the 14lbs o' elderberries Ah gathered last year .... but Ah'll need tae go some tae top the 49lbs o' brambles 
Right noo, nae lang hame fae a gig and enjoyin' a wee drap o' Melon and Apple .... only aboot 6 wikks in the bottle, but already fkn braw .... Hae a fresh 4 gallon batch noo ready for bottlin .... that, and the new batches o' rose petal, elderflower, an' Buddleia wine will keep me gan til those glorious reds based on bramble an' elderberry get made ... Ah'm sure there will be enough suitably aged tae be decent prizes for the Scottish Cup games ..... and the latter part o' the league season
