No, there is a useless 'infractions' system that takes more time than it's worth. For bans we have to go through FootMad admin who have been AWOL for almost 3 years. It was much better when we could issue Yellow Cards (1H, 4H, 1D, 1W) or Red Cards (permanent) and rescind them if necessary.

Its a worry that basically anyone can say whatever they want on here even though it may be libellous and get away with it. Surely that can't be right. We can and do delete posts but normally have to be pointed in the right direction as we don't read every post on every thread.

The mods for allowing me to publish my opinions? Foottmad for not having appropriate procedures in place to stoo me being libellous? A combination of these? Then if im libelled on here who do i turn to to protect myself?

I'm sure it does but all social media platforms have the same problems, if they didn't we would never hear anything about e.g. the racist abuse players get on Twitter, because it would be 'stopped at the gate'. At the end of the day the buck stops with whoever posts the offending message.

Actually that is legally incorrect. The publisher - ie the msgboard host - is ENTIRELY liable.
I'm sorry to hear that they seem to have little control or interest in the content that they are allowing to be published or those iriginating it.
Most of the time it'll be Ok but if things go t**s up on something they won't have a leg to stand on.
