I was thinking about your “job duties” after reading a thread on Twitter about a dad who had taken his lad to the Arsenal game for his first time, only for the lad to get overwhelmed by the intense atmosphere.

They were in the process of leaving, only for an Arsenal steward to ask them why they were leaving. After the dad explained that his kid was having a hard time, they were directed up to a special “sensory” area where there was less going on to alarm the kid and they stayed to watch the whole game.

Not something I’ve genuinely ever thought about, but I’m really glad there was someone on hand to help them out as everyone deserves to enjoy the game, even if it isn’t always in the conventional manner.

I know you are pushing through your own life issues and I hope your sharing here continues as I’m sure it helps others, if only for them to “walk a mile in another’s shoes” to swipe someone else’s comments from another thread.
Spot on - I also find your (MT) posts illuminating and entertaining so I hope you find a way to keep posting.

Leeds Supporters on Tour was your title post I mistook for literally Leeds Supporters on Tour - as in Leeds fans from everywhere coming over for match- day, enjoying the game & hospitality offered.Rather like your day over to see Leeds at Old Trafford. Those that cannot attend games have several choices of how to support the club of which I tried to show what is happening behind the scenes.

Cannot help think I'm no longer wanted as GK states repeatedly & you now emphasise in clear plain English.

Any on the matter would have passed over if the thread comment was by anyone else BUT not for some it appears.

I'll shut up and disappear then for you.I recall I did ask for Mods advice on how posts should be responded to & nobody answered [even you] a while back in fact Org stated no hard & fast rules.

Happy days mate for the old- school on Mad as another one bites the dust.

Thank you for having me & I tried my best for the Forum & met some great folks on here by threads and pm's - hey-ho.
Not directly football related, so I'll add my two pennyworth.

I don't think GKs post was much to get upset about. The thread was started on the back of supporters enjoying the Maltese hospitality and (as often happens) morphed into other things, some of which were heavier and more "serious" than others. If GK wanted to be truly offensive, I'm sure he has the linguistic ability to do so, but he didn't.

I'd agree with Orgoner (see, I'm not THAT much of a curmudgeon), that your posts can get very involved and despite having the nuggets he refers to some may find it heavy going. I suspect many would aim similar criticism my way, but as I have made clear (I hope) that's not why I have resisted from posting (and will return to that state now).

You shouldn't stop posting, there is no reason for you to do so.

Be good to have WTF back too?

He’s not the first (nor will he be the last) to find my style of communication annoying, so maybe I should stick to the PL competition.

Which is much better than CalverleyBoy’s. *

    * Just saying.

Don’t see anything that anyone has said that could be construed as offensive.
Pretty happy go lucky light hearted thread I’d say.
Perhaps every thread should start with the word sorry to save a bitta time later on.
I’d post my own tour picture, except that my back garden doesn’t look so exotic.

    The comments I make ?
The game for sure is changing on & off the pitch so I'd expected the classic 'generational' differences of posting style comments as plenty warned me.

Possibly I'm not the best poster to read on Android when the wife's asking you to this & that pronto I'll admit but charged as 'heavy' the Devils in my details Org,honest.
Easy cop out not wanting to have to do the work deciphering my wise words so save me for a session on your laptop laters Org.

Not one [as you'll know] for the blame game focused on a Owner,Coach, player or forum member - reason for that blame is that we feel bad about something and want to get rid of the bad feeling so we project that feeling at others.
Negative, pointless, not constructive as to real underlying reasons for problems would be my reply.

    Posting again ?
Simple enough for you lot but I cannot shorten my posts to nuggets as my brain cannot slow down medical wise as parts wake-up when they should slow down.
It's a constant internal battle for me & hard to explain how I manage my situation.

For sure Leeds Utd with my family I enjoyed until illness - years of hospital wards confidence was ruined. Now communication wise its slowly returning so I don't feel as withdrawn like on my wall picture [below].

    'On [my] Tour Picture' ?
My brothers first match under ER floodlights was Leeds v Spartak Moscow,Dec 1999, UEFA 3rd round,Radebe netting late winner from a MacPhail corner. - we won 1-0. Twenty-five years later he now lives & works in Moscow & married to a Muscovite girl.
That sums up football in my family for you
Funny old game football as is life but for me it saved my life.
[Heavy thread for sure but I'm wide awake with brain activity]
I'm not perfect but who is - when I'm up to post I will.

    Tot xx
