Thread: O/T What's the oldest appliance in your home, still in use today?

    Having moved to the US 22 years ago and moving to 110v then all of our appliances are younger than that. We do still have some in boxes that we brought from England so a 1980s Black and Decker drill maybe the oldest. Not an appliance but I do have a mechanical oil can that was my Grandad's so is probably over 100 years old and still working (probably because it's been kept well oiled )

    When we rented in CA the house we lived in had a 1950s built in vacuum system that Mrs. CA absolutely hated.

    Err no Sir I buy a metal one each year as they have the year on them, not like some who use the same one every year.
