The masks don't fully protect so waste of time, the vaccines don't stop a spread so surely its an individual choice? I know it still is but plenty threats kicking about.

Just seen a doctor on morning TV saying you're more likely to catch one of the cold viruses that are going about if you snog somebody at the office Christmas party than you are to catch Covid-19 (any variant).

Number of daily cases of and deaths from Covid have steadily decreased over mid September to now. That's because of the vaccine, and of course natural herd immunity, and little to do with wearing something over your mouth and nose that the virus can pass through or around with ease.

Heard immunity, lol, I was a Nazi ******* for bringing that up 18 months ago, Mr Hitchens got an unnoficial BBC ban and people said I didn't care about the elderly.....I don't....but that's no the point........that's a wee joke for those with a humour bypass.

Speaking of abusing the elderly......Greece has decided to knock 100 euros a month aff the unvaccinateds state pension........the birth place of democracy.......very Chinese social credit styleeee.

You have to remember that politicians do not require any qualifications to carry out their job.
They have office staff to deal with all the correspondence from their constituents and the ones with ministerial posts have advisers and special advisers telling them what to say.

Most of them seem pretty hopeless.....my own dealings with Mr Dey left me with the impression he was pretty thick.......not Dianne Abbott or David Lammy thick but kinda general dab thick.

Mr Dey is hopeless as the Scottish Transport minister as far as Scottish Government owned ferries are concerned.
He refused to have a meeting with the leaders of the Western Isles Council when one of the ferries on the Ullapool to Stornoway route broke down and was taken out of service.
However Mr Dey is happy to have a meeting with the SNP MSPs representing the Western Isles, Argyll and Bute and North Cunninghame constituencies because these SNP MSPs will not ask awkward questions about ongoing problems on Calmac ferry routes serving their constituents.
Mr Dey is even worse than Humza Yousef aka ‘Humza Useless’ was as the Scottish Government Transport Minister.
