As for the owners, they have no impact on his performance on the field and unfortunately only one player can ensure his effort levels and attitude are right. They have a duty to ensure his wages are paid and to my knowledge these are up to date.

If the board then interfere this too would be met with discontent from fans as they are then sticking their beak into football matters
What I was trying to get across is if a player is not performing for any reason and this applies to any player as well as Woodrow the onus is on the management to see this and either sub him or in Woodrows case drop him.
I still think the systems wrong though, three up top is never going to work with a quad we’ve got the same way two young lads in the centre of midfield isn’t going to work.

My take on it is simple. He's paid very very good money - money that you would have to be boardroom level at a major bank , building society , corporation in a normal walk of life - keep your head down, work as hard as possible and button it, keep our opinions to yourself .

As for fans, I personally wont boo him etc as his perceived lack of ability and desire isn't my problem, however those that choose to do so have every right - they pay his wages . His wages are at a level that reflects he is a more prominent figure in the area than most and ultimately with that comes accountability and responsibility and a platform for people to vent their spleen to him should they wish. If he doesnt like it, he needs to either prove the doubters wrong or find a club where he will never receive such treatment, or retire from the game due to being too weak to handle the rigours that come with the gig.........and the wages
