Let’s just say we agree. I suspect our opinions around COVID and being jabbed are the same. I just don’t feel the club wants the responsibility and that you are right in that individuals should police themselves.
I wouldn't be surprised though if the game is BCD as I'm pretty sure that more restrictions will be announced after Christmas. That's the way Wales and Scotland have gone.

I'm guessing we'll all have needed to play 22 games before a final table can calculated, but this is the NL so anything is possible.

Tend to agree, and I think Boris is waiting until after Christmas day to announce new restrictions.

I have done my bit with 2 jabs and a booster.

I think most are doing our bit but it's obvious that some have no intention of doing, on a radio red phone in last weekend a bloke admitted that he would attend the xmas fixtures even if he had a positive flow test result, with people like this around I think it's either BCD or a strict passport check & the latter should apply wherever vaccined & unvaccined people could mix whatever the crowd.

Looks like the odds are Triple vaxxed are twice as likely to test positive as double vaxxed according to latest ONS figures. This might be because triple vaxxed are more paranoid and testing more or there's now twice as many triples as doubled out there, but clearly being triple vaxxed is not stopping the spread - so if true a full lockdown and for longer would be even more likely.
I expect a lot of smaller clubs won't accept BCD without sufficient compensation guarantees, so it could be a right old mess again with the World Cup putting extra pressure on leagues to finish the season on time.

You do realise you can still catch and pass on Covid even if vaccinated 3 times don't you? You could even pass it onto an unvaccinated person who didn't have it before meeting you. Why do people treat unvaccinated people like lepers?? I've been double jabbed but not taking anymore thanks, where does it end?

Yes but you are less likely to be in hospital or die.

Looks like the unvaccinated are taking up most of the hospital beds according to official figures. Joe Biden is calling it the Pandemic of the unvaccinated.

But are you? A mate works in a close office of 6 people. The only one not to catch Covid so far is the one who refused the vaccine, some of them have had it twice. 1 in 3 people catch it and don't even know they have it.

We need to look at living with this or do we just close everything down when there's a new varient?? The Flu throws up new varients all year and plenty die from it but we've learnt to accept it. Are the people going to keep panicing until we have zero infections, zero in hospital and zero deaths?

Joe Biden eh? Must be right then.

Let's try and keep this thread football related. How ill people get is irrelevant to the prospect of lockdowns. If you test positive, you have to isolate, that includes emergency services - police etc., hence we end up with restrictions. If triple vax spread it, it makes no difference to the damage being done to business including football clubs so long as we keep on playing this stupid game of no matter how fit and well you are, we can't have people catching a cold.
Seemingly Notts are in a better position than most financially but that's offset by us being in this joke organisation of a league. Haven't seen anything yet from Ollie Bayliss re NL meeting to discuss what should happen. If anybody does know what their plans are in the event of lockdown/BCD/PPG I'd be pleased to know.
