I'm hoping they'll be well and truly found out after this year's debacle, locking down for a heavy cold with ICU numbers minimal, admission numbers in severe decline and statistical evidence seemingly being queried now.

Then again I'm hoping Dundee will win the Scottish Cup; I know which one's more likely.

Things are moving your way Rross. MSM is getting the message that statistics are being gamed. Experts always ask for the worst case scenario.
Even Peter Hitchens was talking about questions being asked. Cabinet is wanting answers to their questions etc.

You could try submitting a Freedom of Information request to NHS Scotland. They have 20 working days by law to reply with answer to a Freedom of Information request but with Nicola insisting that everyone works from home where possible no doubt the 20 working days reply rule will have been extended blaming Covid.

I agree that it was tragic removing the elderly from hospital and dumping them back in their care home without testing them to see if they were suffering from Covid.
In my opinion the politicians and NHS officials who made these decisions should be charged with manslaughter. Sadly that will never happen as the politicians and NHS officials will close ranks to ensure that nobody is prosecuted.
We also never be told how many infections the NHS is directly responsible for as it will be classed as classified information.

Islay, suggestions about charging politicians etc with manslaughter as you have reasoned out for yourself will see a closure of ranks and massive efforts to kick their flawed decisions down the road.
It is terrible what has happened to many families and I think generous compensation delivered promptly with a sincere apology from everyone who was involved in taking those decisions might be better, particularly if all the experts and politicians who made the decisions were banned from holding public office. Politicians sine die and experts for 20 years.

I apologise if my suggestion is met with anger by those who have suffered and would welcome an alternative remedy or remedies.
