    Remember Glyn Riley scoring some really important goals under Norman Hunter when we got promoted from the old third division .

    He scored a reight individual goal at Exeter City right in front of us travelling reds to win us a tight game 1-0 .

    He scored away at Pompey a week or two later to win us another big game 1-0 .

    I think he scored at Hillsborough in 79 when we won 2-0 .

    Tha not going to go far wrong doing that as a Tyke .

    Without looking at the vid, Im guessing it was the all white kit of away shirts and home shorts ?.

    Glyn Riley paired up well with Trevor Aylott. Yes it's well over 40 years ago. What's even more unbelievable, I'm 60 next year. Time flies lol.

    They were great days for the club back then and for us lads who were just starting to have a bob or two in our pockets having just left school .

    Some great times following this club , never hardly missed a game home or away .

    British Rail football specials .

    Kexborough supporters

    Royston Legion supporters .

    Rising Sun supporters .

    Some reight characters and memories .

    They were a bit before my time as a fan lol. The best striker I can remember for teaming up with Trevor Aylott, was Derek Parker in '81-82.
