Remember Glyn Riley scoring some really important goals under Norman Hunter when we got promoted from the old third division .
He scored a reight individual goal at Exeter City right in front of us travelling reds to win us a tight game 1-0 .
He scored away at Pompey a week or two later to win us another big game 1-0 .
I think he scored at Hillsborough in 79 when we won 2-0 .
Tha not going to go far wrong doing that as a Tyke .
Found it on YouTube at Exeter in 1980 and Riley 's winning goal .
What a class away kit that was .
Dear God is it really over 40 years ago .
Where's it gone ?

Without looking at the vid, Im guessing it was the all white kit of away shirts and home shorts ?.![]()
They were great days for the club back then and for us lads who were just starting to have a bob or two in our pockets having just left school .
Some great times following this club , never hardly missed a game home or away .

They were a bit before my time as a fan lol. The best striker I can remember for teaming up with Trevor Aylott, was Derek Parker in '81-82.![]()
