As with others, I am slightly baffled by the 'Llorente bashing' approach. He looks like a quality and composed defender and, as long as he is paired with the right partner (someone a bit quicker and more aggressive), then he is a good asset. The only think that worries me (apart from his propensity for being injured) is when he thinks he is Messi and tries to dribble or trick his way out of defence. This approach sometimes works but there is a time and a place.

watched the game on a rather dodgy buffering link but still saw most of the game. Thought we played pretty well. They definitely came to play as did we.

I think it's important to note that Antonio was very good and a handful. He's not just a pure striker but will set up his teammates. Bowen is also very good as seems to get better and better. With that being said I thought that Hejle and Bate did well.

I did not think we were any better the second half than the first and the first half was heavy on the youngsters.

Meslier is a very good keep. One of the best in the prem.

Totally agree Spaldy - pretty much as I saw the game.

Bowen despite his gamesmanship was the one that got away from us 'signing wise' when he played at Hull.

In hindsight he could have become even better under MB - fine lines for budgets, decisions & potential in football, that with all facts 'now' known are decisions that can be easily criticised by certain fractions down the line after the event.

I believe Drameh is going to Cardiff on loan, to get more playing time. Not sure, but that's the latest scoop.. Apparently, Swansea wanted him first but I am not sure relations between Leeds and Swansea are that friendly after the James debacle.

I’d not heard that CP, hope it works out, I can understand the Swansea thingy though.

Cresswell looked superb when he played against West ham earlier this season, helde also looked composed today, joffy I would love to see get a run out more, and probably would have done if not for a clumsy stupid training accident...gutted he wasn't on show today, greenwood unfortunately I felt ran around a lot but produced little, same with bate, summerville always looks dangerous without producing that killer cross/ball, be madness to let him go out on loan when Harrison is playing poorly, only my opinion, others may see different.

I feel the same about Greenwood, just for me doesn't have any presence up there unlike Gelhardt. He is supposedly a good finisher but also didn't get the chances.

Bate annoyed me a little everytime he got the ball there were passes forward and he took the safe option back, he never progressed play. Could be down to first game nerves and not wanting to look bad but he needs to have that confidence to try things.

Summerville looks like Hadi Sacko but younger, all the skills but not much end product, hopefully he can work on that because he definitely has the talent to take players on

Hard gig to play in midfield against Rice, Soucek, vlasic and Bowen with only Klich off form and Koch for company.

I liked the way he always showed for the ball and pointed where he wanted it or where he wanted people to run. Sort of player who can keep the ball recycled without risk of losing it.

There wasn’t an awful lot in front of him for him to play forward too often.

Greenwood I think will come good looks to have a lot of talent just needs to few he believes - think Joffy has never lacked for confidence and doesn’t seem to get fazed.

Joffy not only a gifted lad but has the crowd with him … a massive plus. This is what we want for the other youngsters moving in. Why I think it’s imperative to slide them into our 1st nice and slow. Get behind them and not rock their confidence. Joffy does not lack that I agree.
