*Fab Friday fact* This will be only the 2nd time in our history that we will play at home on a Friday in January. The only other occasion being against Portsmouth in 1975, the first time an FA Cup 3rd round tie had ever been moved forward. We won 3-1 and got drawn to play Don Masson's QPR in the next round, also played on a Friday night.
Interesting facts, I was hammered in a bar in France when I got that stags game result, not a pleasant way to finish off my birthday 😒
Remember going to the Portsmouth game, had the program from the QPR game off my brother in law, a smart green and white check pattern on the cover.

Barnet won away at Stockport, but otherwise their record against top half teams is poor, Chesterfield put 8 past them over their two games.

Surely we're not going to have a 4th successive League match with Notts coming from behind after conceding in the opening 10 minutes! (We did that in last week's FA Trophy match as well).

We've not kept a clean sheet since mid-November, so I fancy we'll do that on Saturday.

    Well

    3-0 to Notts

Based on the fact we always gift the opposition a goal before we decide to start playing I'll go for 4-1 to Notts.

    Wootton x 2

We buck the trend on Friday night, not only do Notts score first, they grab a second before a late Barnet reply. Game ends 2-1 to Notts

    Do Notts do Dull?

I expect a goal bonanza. Both teams to score. Probably a red card. A rare penalty to the pies in front of the Kop.

    3-1 Notts.
