Apart from the financial benefits of championship football, I dont see much point in this squad of players trying again at this level next season. They arent good enough and they are poorly led. Team selections are baffling far too often.

Weve probably got 6 at the club who could make a fist of it but the calibre of players needed to support them just arent forthcoming. They might be OK in Division 3 but I dont see us retaining the 6 I mentioned so I see difficult times ahead.

I cant wait to see what response Conway delivers after relegation.

If this alleged move for Warnock happens ? It could be seen as a smart move for the owner's , 1 a slight chance to avoid the drop , 2 to try and get some supporters back on side ( ST renewal letter's due ) , or maybe to deflect the current anger towards them from various groups of fan's, including eg Nancy, No Business likes bad publicity , and they are certainly getting plenty !

If Warnock comes here I'll join the Supporters Trust in blowing warm smoke up Conway's arse.

    Smooak that Conway.

Conway talks through his arse so may as well smoke through it.

You can just picture it can't you.
Colin sitting at home, watching Mr Stelling and Co every Saturday afternoon, thinking, what the hell is going on with that rabble. What they need is a right good kick up the backside. Christ, I could do a better job myself with my eyes shut. Mrs W gets on the phone. "Hi there, can you please give my Colin a job there, he's getting on my nerves here."

    Time will tell, I'm sure.
Either way, something needs to happen cause we're going nowhere.

Is this all made up after all.
Or has anybody got a whiff of an idea that they might make a last ditch effort and appoint somebody like Colin ?.

I've just read another report on the general internet that reckons the Barnsley hierarchy are considering it Acido. I can't see it happening myself.

He did it for us animal.
Our Chaiman gave him a free role to do what he wanted, sign who he thought was required and we even set up a car and chauffer available as and when required.
Cost in £££££s yet well worth it.
NW also played for us Millers as well.

No disrespect intended here.....I'm not sure anyone could save Barnsley this season, maybe time to batten down the hatches and start planning for next season.
Good luck for the rest of the season, not too many games left.....

    Me neither Arb.
Id have respected the owners a bit more if they had made a Colin type appointment a few months ago. The season was still recoverable then, especially if they'd hired a British manager/coach who knows about the Efl.
But no, they know best don't they, and they insisted on trying their luck with a cheap unknown foreigner yet again. And maybe in their own minds Asbaghi was/is a great choice.

I know it's still all speculation, but the fact is, it's out there.

What I will say is NW has contacts, and even finding that gem that has no club is what he does best. Cardiff being an example of that.
Players will come and play for him.

Of course, this is all dependant on the attitude of our leaders to make it happen.
Well, that's that decided then. Not a chance.
