Facebook page and BBS hammer and tongs again

This is directly against the governing body Football Mad rules.

There are two main message boards.
This one and the BBS.
The only real alternative to the BBS - is this message board.

I’ve been posting on here and the BBS for years.
I don’t know many off here - but I know quite a few people off the BBS.
On occasions I’ve asked them why they look at this message board but don’t post on here.
They more or less give me the same answer.

Now we have a Facebook site that’s attracted 1800 members and there is disquiet within the BBS which also has hundreds of members.
But not many (if any) have jumped ship or moved over from the Facebook site and appeared on here.
Has site admin on here wondered why this is ???

I know the reason why.

For years this message board hardly moved.
For days nothing was posted.
It’s only posters such as Animal that keep the wheels turning.
We need more posters like him on here to lift the interest.
But we haven’t got that.
We have about 10 to 20 posters that regularly post.

The BBS is a non profit voluntary message board.
This Football Mad message board is a commercial message board that operates to make a profit through advertising.
Football Mad need as many people on here as possible.
And yet we have only 10 to 20 people on here.

Give your head a shake and stop ruining this forum and making it about you.

I hadn't realised there was competition between this message board and BBS as you seem to imply Nudger.

We are all Barnsley fans, some preferring to post on here, some on BBS. It's all a matter of opinion which you enjoy to be on most.

Numbers are irrelevant.

BBS have banned you so you moved on here to have a platform to bleat about it and now you bite the hand of this forum.

You are rarely seen - only appearing to troll me after I’ve posted something.
You have become a stalker.

People have been allowed to be chased off this message board. I have been a regular on here for about 2 years.
In that time BarnsleyDaft was allowed to be chased off here - I don’t know the reason for it - but I’ll say this - the club would be in a much better place if we had a couple of thousand more dedicated fans like BarnsleyDaft.
There have also been abusive digs at Duk and Ponty over this last week.
Abusive language by keyboard warriors ain’t going to chase me out of here.

Sorry but Young Nudger is right, that BBS is somehow the most popular discussion board about things concerning Barnsley FC. Unfortunately it has people running it who are very biased & have a clear agenda. What it is is clearly an “unofficial” BFCST forum, and any negative feeling towards the club & its owners sees you getting banned with no explanation. There are good people who have been banned from that site for no good reason, yet over the years certain posters have bullied the likes of Young Nudger, whilst receiving no punishment.
All this going off with the Conway out group has shown the BBS up for what it is. In fact, the BBS is a closed group not allowing any new members to sign up, which again just shows that it’s not truly representative of the Barnsley supporters.
They have a meeting penned in with Paul Conway supposedly, let’s just sit back and see what happens, but I can bet the hard questions us supporters want to here won’t get asked in the way they should be.

Interesting to hear your thoughts on the BBS Riddler. I read it for a while before joining this forum and I concluded that it appeared to be an Old Boys' Club. As you say, it will be very enlightening to hear the results of their meeting with Conway; that's if they ever get into the public domain.

Very selective , chased off, Keyboard warrior's , abusive , this from someone who is on a constant wind up kick , and uses the word FOOAK ON many occasions , made Mr Filey ill with incessant hounding, BD was actually very abusive , He was man enough to come on here and apologise , he also said he was having a break from here and also seeking medical help , ( not hounded off as you put it ) everyone on here wished him well in his rehabilitation , except for one ---- YOU , do you remember now ?
