What a load of crap just use the old mantra one game at a time keep picking points up and the table will take care of itself

Rest players only if they need resting, not to save them for a "more important" game. There are no push overs in this league, especially teams fighting to stay in it.

I don't think we can afford to pick and choose which games are more important. If we rest too many players against Shrewsbury we could end up losing both games. You only have to look at the Morecambe game last week to show nobody in this league is pushover. We just need to win as many as we can as quick as we can by putting out the strongest team possible in every game. Obviously beating MK Dons would be ideal but it'd be better going into it with a 12 point gap. If anything, beating Shrewsbury takes a lot of pressure off us for the MK Dons games and puts it all on them.

Don't think there will be a 12 point gap, Tuseday Wigan playing Fleetwood [H] - Oxford playing Portsmouth [A]

ELK - I think he means 12pts between us and MK.

Most important game of the season will be the one where we need 3 points or one point to confirm promotion.
    Sooner the better for me.
No need for wholesale changes and at least we have a very good squad that PW can replace like for like players.
None of them will let the side down as far as effort or application goes.

Luckily it's on iFollow on Tuesday night as we can't make this one.

I did, we only need to worry about the gap to 3rd at the moment, we can worry about the gap to 2nd after we seal promotion.

I was about to post exactly the same view and couldn't agree more. Until we get to that game, everything else is pure speculation. I don't think any of the games before then is more important than the others.
