Watched the full game last night and young Styles played very well. The commenter said Styles didn’t look the slightest out of place during his full international appearance. He was subbed on 82 mins and the commentator said he was Hungarys best player on the night.

Anyone who watched the full game come on let’s know what you think as I believe this lad is getting some unfair criticism.
Is his lack of so called progress down to him or the way he’s been coached. This lads a footballer much better than quite a few on Grove Street in my opinion.Name: C47FCA4C-C66D-4C94-93F8-442D43573BE6.jpg

I totally agree with what you say , he is another player who has been messed about this season by playing him in numerous positions & formations when it was clear last season that he was one of the best wing backs in the championship . he is clearly a real talent & needs to be coached & used better to aid his progression but of course because he is one of our best players that will mean he will be wide open to critique from certain parties , as reds fans we should be chuffed for the lad & proud as he brings recognition to our club, well done Callum

Just for balance, Callum can still improve aspects of his game, notably looking over his shoulder and picking a runner. He didnt do that last night and NI almost scored. Ive also noticed that when he has played for us.

He remains quite a talent and stability in one position wont do him any harm. The international selection will give him something he cant gat at Oakwell, ie having experienced talent around him to learn from.

Well done Callum. I hope you and your family loved the experience.

The £ notes will be rolling round like a slot machine in The Arseoyle's eyes.

I didn’t see the match but I’ll try to find it.
Obviously there isn’t one Barnsley fan that dosent want Styles to succeed.
We are all willing him on.

I think what’s happened is that he burst onto the scene as a kid and everyone was amazed how such a young player looked so accomplished.

Commentators and fans were all saying how good this lad will be when he gets a bit more experience.
Well to my mind - that progress hasn’t materialised.
And I think that’s where the disappointment lies. It’s not that he’s a bad player - it’s because he hasn’t progressed as much as what people thought he would.

This could be because of lack of confidence due to the position in the league - or there may be other matters such as he wants to be away from Barnsley.

There’s definitely a player there in Styles.
