He wishes!!! Just look at the clubs and countries this guy has managed, impressive is an understatement. It appears his Plan A works, albeit short term it definitely has been successful.

The Bielsa sacking was a classic example of what is wrong with football.
It’s absolutely no coincidence that Leeds have lost 7-8 key players this season and are struggling.
Pundits justify their job by analysing faults in the system/formation when they’ve basically been reduced to an average Championship side this season. The system is irrelevant. The only fit players at the club just aren’t good enough.

His squad was thin from day one but he didn't strengthen it when he had the chance.

Maybe he didn’t have the chance to strengthen.
Maybe he could just go with what squad he had.
Us supporters are only privy to what we are told, which is not necessarily the truth.

True. The loss of a player as good as Kalvin Phillips alone would affect any team.

Leeds spent ages in the wilderness outside the Premier League and Bielsa ended that long exile and then led them easily to safety last season. This season they got some key injuries, took a few heavy beatings and the Leeds board lost their nerve. A classic case of 'What have you done for me lately?'

Bielsa won't be too bothered because he's already been there and done it all, but Leeds might have cause to reflect at some point on their lack of patience and loyalty.

You mean as he is head coach only, the players are sought out and signed by someone else then handed over to him and he has to mould them into a coherent football team capable of success? He is a puppet who has no say about who comes and goes? Who then can the mystery scout be? How come we've never heard of him or this set-up before?

I thought we all knew that the scout was the revered St Atistics.

Wasn't scout's father the revered Atticus?
