First time in weeks that we have had less chances than the opposition and we come out 0-2 winners. Proof that stats mean zip. Its goals that count even if you only have 1 shot and end up winning 1-0.

Good result and played well although Hull aren't very good.

As others have said, Hull were very poor but main thing is that we not only got a win at last, but also played some decent football in patches. Certainly think that midfield was better and TGH made a difference but, to be fair, so did Livermore. Formation seemed to suit us better too.

Maybe Bruce can get them back to performing better and instill the element of confidence that has clearly been missing as well as getting them to demonstrate more desire and effort. It's only one game against a poor Hull side but maybe we have bottomed out? Reaching playoffs won't solve the bigger issues at the club in itself, but it would help. It's certainly far from nailed on though as our slide down the table means that this depends as much on the performance of other teams as it does on any rejuvenation of ours.

Huddersfield next should be a good test....beat them and go on a late surge....should do the trick...🎇

At last, a penalty and a goal from it.
You never know, we may even score a goal in the Smethwick End again before the end of the season.
