    It’s such a mess now.

My preference is to get rid of Bruce and find a new and bright coach.

    In a perfect world,

    A new owner

A properly thought out ethos as to what the club stands for and a blueprint for playing style.

A young director of football such as Scharner or Olsson.

    A dynamic young coach.

A boot room consisting of at least two or three recent legends such as G Mac, Morrison, Brunt.

A massive clear out of stale and older players.

A big emphasis on our homegrown players and on young talent from lower divisions and abroad.

Three or four really well tested quality players of renowned character to be brought in to bring experience to the first team.

A quality veteran keeper such as Foster or Joe Hart along with a G Mac/Olsson type centre half and a physical and mobile midfield general.

A proven striker who fits the Kevin Phillips type of character who can still finish but also can help bring on our younger strikers.

If I was nee owner my first calls would be to
Olsson, G Mac, Foster, Brunt, Morrison, Steven Reid, Mulumbu and a couple of others and to get them all in to see who has the best plan and to formulate which combination would work.

Fans would be overjoyed at the thought of an Albion brains trust under a new owner and season ticket sales would boom.

To be honest forget the manager. If the players cant motivate themselves for a local derby then there is no hope.

Personally I’ve come to the conclusion that the dreams and aspirations of the players are poles apart from the fans.
Honestly I don’t think many want to be promoted.

Players like Livermore, Bartley can brag to their grandkids later that YES I played at the top level, been there done that. But do they really fancy another season there where they are embarrassed every week. Barley could not get into a relegated Swansea side for a reason, and he older now

Does Furlong really want to be skinned every week.
I think many of them know they will be embarrassed and pundits will crucify them.

Bruce in or out, not bothered, Manager not the biggest problem, squad more of an issue

I agree 100% it seems so obvious as the right way forward.
