Well it's back in our own hands if Everton don't beat Chelsea or Leeds get beat by City.
What a great result,Bashley changed the game when he came on.
Was very worried for you at HT but then two late goals made all the difference in the world. Have to be favourites to survive now.
Our excellent season ended today wit a nice win and just to round it off perfectly, Bournemouth ended Blackburns playoff hopes
Nice to know the Bastids are staying down whatever happens.wanderlust did you used to post on Bolton mad.? I used to post on there many moon a ago when Judy's was your manager.lol
Watching Bournemouth after Howe's departure could be like watching our future, two brilliant managers who became too entrenched in their tactics and became stale. A change that worked for both parties (Dyche's future still in hand)
Not happy!
For me I believe that in defence someone on the field, ( Tarks?) has to organize our defence. For Warlords goal in the 8th min. Warlords had
6 players positioned just outside out Goal area, the goal area not the penalty area, we had 4. We have a back 4, so what about Brownhill and Cork ? Having a smoke just near the penalty area line? The result was an unlucky bounce off Tarks! GOAL !!! If this scenario is repeated again and again, for sure goals will be scored! ( Six attackers against 4 defenders ) Someone in central defence has to control the defence because in that position he seeing all the areas of the defence. Player's playing on the left or right of the defence would see/notice only their own flank.
Then if nobody is controlling players positions, it's like a case of the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing! The result ,it could be that the opposition score .Then if we fail to score ,each time we will drop down the league table.
No opposition player has scored against us in the last 286 minutes of football.
Tarky was just giving them false hope by gifting them an own goal.![]()
