Good luck to Mickel. I thought he was a decent player. If he stays fit then he will be a good asset to one of the league 1 teams looking for promotion. He could find himself playing for quite a big team with some of the clubs in that league!! I’m seeing Charlton in my crystal ball!!

I hope he never comes back to bite us!!

Yes, I thought he was a decent player also.

It’s an odd one, he’s the type of player we need and yes there is a fitness question mark, but then again that criteria applies to others in the squad not just him.

He only made 23 league appearances last season and the year before he made 21 (9 for millers and 12 for cobblers).
We need a player from can feature in more than 50% of the games.

Charlton would be a good call, he is from Croydon so a south London team would suit.

Fair enough, but were some of the ‘missing” games just down to not being selected?

It’s big shout letting Mickel leave but looking at those stats it does tell a story. Good luck Mickel and thank you for everything.

Hopefully this is one of those that feels like a risk losing a good player but ends up being a good one to free up wages and a squad space for an improvement. Always liked Miller though, good to watch and put a shift in and hope he gets a good club next year - could see a Portsmouth or someone going for him.

Remember like O’Connor leaving after being involved in the final under Evans but ultimately we had to be open for just a bit better for the league above.
