Not this time but I know of people that have been caught by BBC Look North interviewers and their comments didn’t “ make the cut”

One of them was quite recently regarding Boris and his parties. The comment of it being exaggerated by the media and under the circumstances Boris is doing a decent job wasn’t used.

As someone else said,have a trip over to Barnsley and see how a working class town centre should be.
Every time I come back to my home town I hope there will be some improvement, alas I'm still waiting.

Yet a couple of days ago on Politics Live they were vox popping folks in Wakefield and had folks on there saying Boris was doing a good job etc. How could that have happened?!

Just go in to Barnsley and see what their council has done to the town centre these last couple of yearsThe town planners in Rotherham are getting paid really good money for doing sod all.Barnsley are light years ahead of us but similar in size and population.They have had a plan and got on with it and a centre that is very smart and vibrant now.Rotherham has a council that is a disgrace and the towns folk deserve a lot lot better.I can't think of another similar sized town with a worse town centre.

They've made a cracking job of the town centre , absolutely fantastic what they've done .

A real sense of pride when you walk in town these days .

I initially thought it was a huge gamble , what with Meadowhall , Leeds and internet shopping but it's paid off with the Town centre vibrant and busy .
