One of my biggest regrets is not learning guitar when I was a kid.

Too late now due to a bad memory and low patience level.

Try going to their website direct rather than through Amazon, my compressor pedal was £10 cheaper direct from G4M than from Amazon; they get some good reviews, too.
Thanks for the tip, I'll look them up! (though aside from the cost, the better half won't be too pleased with yet another guitar and amp cluttering up the bungalow-really do need to work on getting a proper man cave for all my stuff!&#128515

Haha, tell her that it isn’t a guitar; well, it isn’t really, it’s a bass? She’ll love it…….

Never too late to learn Mick and the guitar is an instrument that, once you've managed the basics, you can quite quickly get a decent sound out of and then how far you go is up to you. If you can sing (which sadly I cant) even better as you only need to learn a few chords to be able to accompany yourself on a lot of songs. I find it a great way to relax and can be both enjoyable and rewarding. As I posted earlier, unlike years ago, the internet now provides plenty of learning resources from absolute beginners upwards whatever your musical tastes. Give it a go and you'll soon be bashing out a *** Pistols riff!
