I completely agree with you Mick. I think the loony left and right of both parties are crippling them and most people want a sensible centrist option.

One of the reasons I switch to Lib Dems at the last election is that if they form a minority govt in a coalition, they want to switch the FPTP vote system to PR. We really need that to happen in my view, because the 2 party system just doesn’t work anymore.

Well after the recent confidence vote if the 1922 committee change the confidence rulings to strategically get Johnson out - this will be as undemocratic as you can get!! F uckin disgusting in fact!

Don’t get me wrong - I am no fan of Johnson and don’t even vote as pointless in my area with a Tory landslide.

Be careful what you wish for!! Starmer will be on the second sentence of improvements for the cost of living after his book on the cheese and wine parties!
Johnson saying he has a mandate from the electorate just doesn’t stand up from a constitutional perspective. 14m people didn’t vote for him, they voted for their local MP. The PM needs the confidence of a majority of MPs and cabinet in order for a Government to properly function. It’s clear he doesn’t have that.

I’m trying to think of BJs end game now, and the only thing I see him doing is deselecting unloyal MPs and calling a GE. Which will put the queen in a tricky position.

Totally agree 123. He got a mandate for the Party to govern, not for him personally. He is a total embarrassment now and should go as he is damaging the Tory Party and this wonderful country.

Agree. He's got to go. Not only are MP's resigning but MP's are refusing positions that they are being offered. How can a country be governed in this manner? If he won't resign he will be ousted anyway.
