Sinisterra may be all you say, and so? The Dutch leagues have deteriorated significantly over recent years, their presence (or lack of) in European competitions, there hasn't been a Dutch CL winner since the mid-90s!!!!!!

The other names you mention are equally inconsequential, and Roca has struggled to play any kind of regular football for over 2 seasons!

I don't spout bile and vitriol unlike you and others, I mention facts, verifiable information not conjecture and opinion. I don't mind anyone having an opinion, but please let it be based on something other than hopeless optimism.

And as for Roberts, he is not, nor will he ever be, a Premiership layer as long as he has a hole where his ars5e is. I wrote him off, as did many others, before Bielse came (somewhat belatedly) to his senses and decided he wasn't "fit for purpose". He has stolen a living from LUFC and consequently deprived the club of funds it might have used to better effect (bit like the stupidity regarding Costas enhance contract), but you continue to defend the indefensible, knock yourself out.

And "nuance and subtlety", in the PL are you f00king insane? this isn't some kind of arthouse game, its real f00king life and we need to wake up and smell the coffee, so do you. the players we have acquired in this window are just that, window dressing, no matter what country or continent they hail from.
So with your lofty opinions and know all attitude you have done precisely what in professional football to give you a better clue than those who earn their living in it - I suspect a big fat zero.

Whenever we sign non English players you typically slag them off without giving them a chance - sounds like the sort of thing Nigel Farage would do.

I didn’t say you were I said you come across that way - I don’t know you other than the small insights one gets from here but that is the impression you often create from my perspective when anything not born on these shores.

Words matter and you often come out with angry or negative outbursts.

I guess you will say you don’t care what people think but your periodic mega flounces when you declare you want the world to end and YOU are NEVER EVER posting again might suggest otherwise.

Maybe show a bit more consideration to others and not trying to get them to concede they are always wrong and you might find it repaid in kind.

And I'm accused of "wriggling". "You come across as.........", fancy way of saying "you are", bit like "however" is a fancy "but", it means the same.

I suggest you look back at my positive posts regarding Hernandez, Klich, Alioski, Struijk, Meslier, Hjelde, Raphina, none of whom were "borne of these shores". also have a look at those slightly less positive relating to some who were (Cooper as an example, even though he's of Scots descent), and you'll see I'm very even handed in my plaudits and criticisms.

Ok, here is my considered view of your last post...........Sanctimonious, patronising bilge. Considerate enough?

Dont really understand why the tosspot gets under so many peoples skin - as everyone should by now know he is always right and it's the rest of us that need to wake up and smell the coffee ffs

Just waiting to see how things pan out this coming season before judging any of our signings - a little like most of us did about Raphina - but he who knows all - rubbished the signing of Rapha on the last day or the window as a "panic buy" of some unknown - hmm - yet just now he is moaning about our selling of "our most creative player"

Will always be the same - rubbish every player we buy before they have kicked a ball - then rubbish the club for selling them on at a vast profit

He will NEVER change, always right, and a happy bunny toboot!

You're quite the gatherer of my posts, perhaps. I have no idea what I posted regarding Raphina, possibly what you accuse me of, but unlike some (who I wonder) I'm prepared to change my opinion, AND admit I was wrong, so if I rubbished the guy the clearly that was incorrect and "the boy done good" satisfied? Doesn't change the fact that I've been right more than wrong, and if my views of the majority of incomers since Orta arrived had been the determining factor, we'd be a WHOLE LOT better off, in all respects, on the field, in the bank etc.

Oh and and as for getting under peoples skin, you looked in the mirror lately?

As for the other question Hope who knows we have only seen one so far anything can happen.
I believe that is what Hope was alluding to. Tagging players as ordinary before we even kickoff...
