The usual rubbish from the Brexit Bores. Look for an alternative reality that suits your prejudices.

QT selects from places that invite it to visit. No invitation, no selection.

The audience is selected to represent a balance based on preferences given at application. You sometimes spot a bias when the local Tory party lies its way to a disproportionate number of places. Surprise, surprise!

Giddy, what the hell do you think you are doing upsetting Grist with such a reasoned and reasonable response. Don't you think he has had enough grief for one day?

If there was more MPs like Dehenna Davison then politics would be a much more productive and positive subject for younger people.

As a Labour supporter I found her to be very impressive. 28 years old Tory MP of Bishop Auckland. I predict a big future for her.

You mean like coming on the programme and not knowing where it's hosted hasn't received a penny from the " Levelling Up Fund " .

I think she said that she didn’t know why Barnsley hadn’t received any money.

I watched about half the programme before the wife told me to turn it off.

Seemed to me that the sensible people of Barnsley made the right responses to the main issues of the day.

The 'Levelling Up' funding is just one of the funding sources available to councils. Whilst Barnsley missed out in rd 1, they might be included in rd2 or however many rds they decide so that every town receives an amount of money no matter how small so gov can spin it.

Maybe would have been better not to have a Levelling Up fund, but to not cut budgets in the beginning.

I'm surprised Goldthorpe managed to receive funding from a Tory gov, what do they plan to spend it on, a statue of Maggie.

No, I mean coming from having her Dad murdered while she was young to become an MP at 25 years old. I didn't say I agreed with her policies (especially about Brexit)
But I found her very impressive in a society that looks down on the millennial generation as being useless.
