    OT Tequila

There’s a tequila called Omega Altos £23 for 70cl in Tesco is really good. It’s smooth and you can taste the agave.
Tesco also do a double Dutch mixer with lime, cucumber and chilli. Mix it all up with a glug of triple sec and that’s what I’ll be toasting the millers with when I get home later.

Sounds great! Wait for me at full time I'll mek one wi thi.

I hate tequila but drank loads in a Mexican bar called Break For The Border underneath the London Palladium. I think it was the salt and lemon I liked. They served beers - I drank Dos Equis - with the tequila and the bottles were so cold that if you didn't use a napkin your fingers froze to the bottle. Great days.

When I was working in South Africa in (1996) I was introduced to After Shock in the hotel. A South African business man with his workers were there and he asked me to join them. He thought it was a good idea to have shooters of After Shock and tequila.
It was a weekend so I could recover!

I had never heard of After Shock, frog. It sounds lethal. I once played a game of seeing who could drink Polish vodka fastest. You had to grab your glass, drink and replace the glass on the table. I got so drunk I missed my mouth and poured a glass of 90% in my eye. It hurt.

Another brilliant tribute if anyone is into Kate Bush is 'Cloudbursting: the Kate Bush Experience'. Obviously we don't get to see the real thing but these guys and the singer are magnificent.
Guttered never got to see REM so glad I gave them a try. Nirvana UK are very good if you get to the chance to see them and the Smyths also.

Seem quite a few tributes but not Nirvana or Smyths - love the original bands so will look out for them.

Another great tribute for anyone that loves the Pogues are Pogue Traders. Great night out
