    (PS…perhaps that’s why I’m relegation fodder in the prediction league :-) )

He must start on Friday and everyone will be cheering him on! It’s the donkeys like Livermore, Reach, Phillips, Bartley and Zohorse that need to do one!! Bruce though persists and this will be his downfall!

Bet Bruce is itching to give Reach, Livermore and Phillips a start!

Personally I wouldn’t have him anywhere except on the bench on Friday.

He is a kid with little experience, none at this level. He will have been here a couple of days and at best may know all of their names by Friday.

I have been critical of Grant since before he came but to be fair he took his goal really well vs Wigan. I wouldn’t have expected to score from that situation very often. However, he is experienced at this level and has to be ahead of this kid for now.

Give the kid the last 20/30 minutes for sure when they are tiring but that would be it for me on Friday.

100% have him on the bench and give him a few mins late in the game.

Totally agree, especially as Grants score rate is higher and at a higher level.

Grant just isn’t a centre forward or main striker. But I guess he’s the best we’ve got until Dike is fit. Sad state of affairs.

Josh Onomah linked. That would be a great signing on loan.

It just p*sses you off that we leave it to the last day to go for a defender, midfielder and striker. That's the spine of the team!

Martin Kelly having a medical also apparently. I get the logic behind that move.

Yes he’s definitely not a centre forward and misses too many opportunities plus often is non existent in the number 9 role. Not a criticism really but he’s not a number 9 and that’s it!

Mitrovic is a striker and that’s why Fulham were promoted and he’s still scoring goals in the Premier for fun! Huge huge difference!

I'm not going to knock Grant, he scores most of our goals, but I agree, he's a number 10 not a nine. I would like to see someone alongside him in a 4-4-2.

Kelly hasn't played many games in recent years and probably unfit!!
