Buying cheap with potential is the only hope this cheapskate club has. We all know how it goes though, if this kid starts banging then in he won’t be here 5 minutes. It’s a catch 22.

He won’t be banging them in if he has to rely on Livermore, Phillips and Reach for service!

Yes it is but that model is so successful for many clubs.

Look at Brentford but also Dortmund do it, Ajax do it, many others as well. Only the real powerhouse clubs with all the advantages can keep their best players and even they are not safe from similar sized clubs and more importantly agents and greedy players.

Football nowadays is a Catch 22.

Looking at the YouTube links, he knows where the goal is!
Happy to take a chance on a kid, instead of spending on the donkeys we keep buying.....
The problem is, when that Tw@ Bruce puts him upfront on his own, with such a small stature, will he really be able to do much?!

Is he a little bloke, then? We need someone to whom crosses can be fired towards; Andy Carroll anybody?

In all honesty, we could do a lot worse, and probably will!

On a FB a Salford fan says he's not an out and out striker, but he runs and runs and runs.
I honestly don't know whether to laugh or cry.

So much tripe coming out over this, one guy said “He scores 1in 3 that’s better than what we’ve got now anyway” Grant scored 18 last year (do the maths) 1 in 2 was always considered a top striker. This is a higher level.
