Same old story, 80% of these arrivals seem to be young men.

If I decide the U.K. or Eu is “dangerous” what do you think my islands of choice Australia or NZ would say when I rocked up in a dingy?

    Exactly.

    It’s a p I s s take.
You still haven’t answered my question, this is a EU wide problem and we take in fewer than most.

And the party you voted for who have been in charge for 12 years aren’t resolving the problem. Leaving the EU hasn’t resolved it. More dog whistle politics (a la Suella) isn’t the answer - but will probably be voted for by our naive electorate.

You never answer the questions either.

I don't know who is the bigger threat to national security .

No your incorrect. Having lived in Spain for many years and absolutely fluent in the language you get almost f uck all there. This is why when ex pats over there go bust they return home! Try getting a Spanish residency now - your need more than a dinghy!!

Why should we take our fair share anyway like other EU Countries! We are not in the EU so we should not take any unless processed with a skill set we need from Rwanda.

Stop the hand out for two years that should be the start!

Oh dear. The Home Secretary's just upset the Labour front bench which includes Yvette Cooper. "It's an invasion, and they're not all refugees". No wonder Labour want her out.

Fighting talk, but let's see what follows

Asylum Seekers Benefits in Spain = €165-€185 per month

Asylum Seekers Benefits in UK = £164 per month

The reasons for coming to the UK are not to claim more off our welfare system, than anywhere in the EU.

I think that the rule should be that if anyone arrives in the country illegally, then they should not be eligible to claim asylum or permission to stay. If you want to live in a country, abide by their laws, simple; well, it should be.

Oh, and all those who are now complaining about the conditions in which they are being housed, should be given one of those now spare rubber dinghies and set off back to France. These people are using up resources that should be spent on those British people currently in desperate need of more social care, which they have already paid for in their lifetimes of paying taxes but are so often now being bled dry by having to pay again. Outrageous.

Someone with no money in this country, going to food banks and hardly anyone says anything. A foreigner coming here illegally and there’s an uproar if they aren’t treated properly. You used the word “Invasion” how could you?! Well, people with a fiver left over to feed three kids…..How could you?
The reporters on TV are the worst, all watery eyed over pop stars but laying into politicians and being contrary just because. Talking over them, not letting them answer. Everyone is working against everyone else. Governments are no longer allowed to govern.
