I’ll be very surprised if we get anyone in for the Blackburn game. We will do what we always do in January. Wait until the last week and get someone’s young player in on loan.

Grandson who supports Huddersfield Town & played with Duane Holmes in the Altofts team
when youngsters, just sent me a picture of Duane with a caption.
" Played for Altofts Fc now match winner tonight ".

Correct Duane toyed with a poor Millers defence.

First call is for a rethink of the masterplan. It clearly isn't working.
I didn't think we had a plan tonight.

    Or I couldn't see it

Unless it was Eaves falling over every time he went for the ball.

My post was an indirect attempt at saying we look doomed at this level. We are a very good League 1 side, but are well and truly stuck in terms of not being able to crack the next step. Without greater investment, which could potentially put the loose 'guarantee' of our ultra competitiveness in League 1 at risk should it backfire, we are stuck.

Without debating the rights and wrongs of the model we work by, that is the situation we are in. A situation that won't change.

Players and Management could do loads better, don't get me wrong, but the bad 'luck' with injuries we are having right now is just a nail in the coffin. We cannot compete without a 95% fit squad, we have next to nothing in reserve. Incredibly brittle line to tread, and when it goes wrong, like now, it is painfully exposed. Last season no real major injuries and we benefited, this season it will kill our aims.

I can take going up and down, could be worse. Wouldn't half love surviving just once however, see what we could do next, but alas.

I have had a season ticket for decades (Millmoor, DVS and NYS) but I'm getting to the stage where I don't know if I want to bother any more because the chairman spouts the same rubbish every season but the outcome is utterly predictable.
Yip, and loads on here were taking it in. How many were saying that we'd survive easy and finish mid-table..................hahahahaha
