When you look at the fact he's only 25, he was ripping up league 2 and had he not have injuries would probably be top end championship if not premier League. It's a very good signing for the national league

I went to that game at the Ricoh and Jones looked different class, he regularly tore us apart. Surprised his career seems to have stalled, but if he retains his ability he looks a very good signing.

Here's hoping his body can stand up to the high energy / high press that LW demands. No doubting his ability, but the fact he has hardly played a game for 5 years, or started a league game this season is a worry.
I will take the positives that we know what a good player he was and he has at least seen some bench time this season for a side two divisions higher.

With a lack of games and injuries sustained in mind if this is reflected in the salary contribution by Notts towards his wages then this looks a good slow burner to me. Plus if we want a Plan B or C etc then signing a winger allows this with who we have already in the squad.

    That's my initial positive view.

Palmer & Bostock together, didn't quite a few say that this pairing doesn't work

Don’t want too many players in TBH - we have a good team - shouldn’t mess with it too much IMO
