There was talk of holding Nelms more to account and getting him to open up and respect the 2nd largest shareholder.......I've no seen any of that as of yet.

It was stated legal advice was being taken to see what could be done.

D4l to their credit got an answer from a spokesman re Dens next season, still the mute 🦉 says nothing.

I don't know how to phrase this but I sense there's more of an appeasement towards Nelms now rather than getting him to communicate

I cud make a joke about costing up to him with a hot water bottle but I'll resist.....oops to late

It's just not the impression I got when I left the meeting.......I wasn't going home to put on the war paint but I expected a wee bit more than what we have got up to now

This prob comes across as a critical post but it's not, it's the vibe em getting that things/ direction has changed slightly.

You have hit the nail on the head about an appeasement to Nelms instead of getting him to communicate.
That was one of the reasons why I decided to resign as a Dee4life Director with immediate effect.
I was fed up with the ‘can being continually kicked down the road’.
There were other reasons such as a Dee4life Director no longer being allowed to contact a Dundee Football Club member of staff or a Director to ask them a question.
To cap it all a Dee4life Director was not allowed to contact the SLO to ask him a question.

I’ve lost a huge amount of interest in D4L and will leave it at that.

The ability of our owners to deliver the Campy project is still in the "wait and see" state, for me.

Let's see how Dee4life get on. Hope they get more members. All the issues surrounding the future of Dens have been deferred, just that, deferred. The Dens Doomsday Clock might start ticking again if the planning application does not materialise. We might need Dee4life, so why not get behind their recruitment efforts?

I sympathise with Islay's comments about the changes made to the way the Dee4life board want to operate. However, I imagine that the Board took a collective view and decided on their strategy. I don't think anyone can argue that the previous years of non dialogue achieved much despite a great deal of effort to build bridges by the previous sets of directors.

More members for Dee4life can only be a good thing, imo.

Like you I have also lost a lot of interest in Dee4life and I am seriously considering not renewing my annual membership subscription this November because I am not happy with the ‘tippy, tappy’ approach to dealing with John Nelms.

Not going the way I had hoped b cram, sorry but I've little interest in watching my football at campy......Id still go now and again but season tic etc a no no.

Spoken to a few boys recently and there's genuine apathy about the move which seems less and less about DFC and more about Linda and Keyes.

If it ever happened it would be like a bigger version of cove for me, fitba in an industrial estate.

Looks like D4L are backing the move now which didn't to me seem to be the consensus in the room and I don't think it's the case among the wider support.

But em a bit like Scott, Islay and shaded a bit scunnered with it.

Finally. Some more Dundee supporters have realised that the move to Campy is primarily about Nelms and Keyes who as directors of DBPH purchased the site for £1,296,000 in July 2016 and have to do something with the site to get their money back.
Leaving the old For Sale sign at the proposed entrance to site seems strange to me unless Keyes is trying to sell the site.
If so then he will have to erect a new For Sale sign as the company quoted on the current For Sale sign was taken over a few years ago.

Agree, but being outside the tent has not done anything, imo. I think we need Dee4life, so I want to try to provide a different viewpoint. I think it will become obvious how the Campy project is progressing and as long as missed deadlines are questioned and answers received we should not get a nasty surprise. I think your Dens Doomsday Clock was an excellent way to keep an issue in the public eye. It may be needed next year!

The biggest problem is Dee4life failing to get a meeting with JN to ask questions about Campy Nou etc.
