An absolutely superb song, and there are as has been said, so many to choose from - in recent years I have had such thoughts when a touching song comes on the radio. I think I've settled on True Colours by Cyndi Lauper - to me its meaning is about being yourself which is something I've held myself to over the years.

I've got plenty of songs that I've written to play at my funeral but I always come back to Justin Currie's "Sleep instead of tear drops"
One of the most underestimated songwriters of all time in my opinion. Great Irony in his lyrics "They say that times a healer but its a murderer today" On the few times in my life I haven't been able to write this is the writer I go to for inspiration.
