I presume Stefan you have never been on the Eurotunnel??

I have, a vehicle is driven into a train with carriages, you drive onto it park disembark at the other end. It’s not a drive through as such..

See they have replaced the podium signs from Covid days of stay at home etc at No 10 to stop the boats 🤨

Gary Lineker was the main headline news tonight on the BBC at 6pm,sitting on the Beebs naughty step apparently for tweeting about the governments plans for the illegals,if I was on his money I would zip it shut and keep out of politics

Many in Germany in the 1930's thought that zipping it and keeping out of politics was the safest thing to do.

They didn't think that a few years later.

Lessons from history are quickly forgotten.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Gary Lineker is under fire for criticising the Government, yet the current Chairman of the BBC has donated over £400,000 to the Conservative party and was appointed by Boris Johnson. Impartiality should work both ways.

The language being used by the right wing of the Government over this matter is very similar to Germany in the 1930s.

They are deliberately stirring up hatred in the hard of thinking.

It will end in more problems outside refugee centres etc and is a calculated move.

Then maybe Lineker is a little hard of thinking?

I find him quite intelligent and fair minded.

If he gets the boot from the Beeb I'm sure Sky will pick him up and pay him even more than he earns now.

The Politics Sketch - John Crace.

How might PM explain the strategy to stop the small boat crossings to his home secretary and the French president?

It is only the high profile ones that we get to hear about, the ones who stand out with their flash boats, cars and planes.

I imagine shedloads get in if they can prove they have money and have a legitimate reason to be here.

Fine with me giving these lot Visa's as they can support themselves and as they don't need to leech off us will just probably leave the country of their own accord as people normally return to where their family and friends are.
