I can understand the concerns, not winning that game after completely dominating for 90 mins was such a Notts thing to do and you could easily imagine the same thing happening in a playoff game. I thought we payed well though and I can’t see us missing that many chances next week. We as fans have got a big role to play in not letting any anxiety transmit on to the pitch. 90+ minutes of proper support.

On a side note if anyone had said a few years ago we’d get 10,000 home fans for a relatively meaningless game in non league I’d have said they were mental. Fantastic how our numbers have improved.

We had complete control of that game. It was just one of those where the keeper pulled off 3 world class saves and we hit the post.
We counted at least 5 class saves by their keeper

Whoever we play next Sunday, we will slaughter them - in the final we will control the game and win comfortably. End of!! - Bring on L2

I thought both wing backs were poor today, I was hoping Jones would come on for Nemane their full back had him covered for most of the game. Their keeper was m.o.m but Ellis had a fine game in defence for them he seemed to block everything.

Aaron seemed a bit lost yesterday and never really beat his man. York defended so deep, though, that there was little space for him to run into for those passes inside the defender (they usually had two men around him as well). Adam Chicksen rarely provides that same kind of threat on the left-hand side and yesterday was a familiar day at the office for him. Not sure what was going on between him and their right back, but the latter seemed rather wound up by Chicks late on (and got a deserved yellow for a bad foul).

Ruben got caught in possession too often and looked a yard off the pace for me, but his assist for the goal was a joy to behold. Sam Austin deserved a goal for his efforts, and would have got one if it weren't for that pesky York keeper. The latter was very impressive (apart from one very dodgy kick) - I'd assumed Ryan Whitley was on loan from a higher-league club, but he's York born-and-bred and only 23. One to watch based on that performance.

Nemane is ineffective when he is unable to beat the player for speed who is marking him. As was apparent yesterday..

... this should be renamed 'THE MOANERS THREAD'. FFS, grow some balls and trust the players to play full on for 90+ minutes on Sunday. COYP
