If he agrees it was his / agents fault ,then first step should be getting another agent.
He'll probably be gone in next window and only came back to get fit and in shop window ( and get paid)

Let's see how Thelin handles this one dumped on his lap just as he got harmony etc going in squad.
Hopefully he gets him back fit and being the player we know he can be, but I have my doubts as Duk obviously has head set on leaving.

Be interesting to see reactions he gets on pitch and around Aberdeen.

I’m musing on how Eddie Turnbull or Fergie would have handled this.

Duk the dick? Can you get arrested for that sort of thing?

If he "puts a shift in" with some contrition and scores a few goals, then welcome back.

I don't think any of their players would have dared to pull the kind of trick Duk pulled.

I suspect that Duk is only back in Aberdeen to save his football career rather than focusing upon helping the team and it’s much too late to be contrite. An agent is supposed to be just that and it’s up the players to instruct their agents what they want to do. Duk will doubtless have put on even more weight during his football sabbatical so all things considered I don’t imagine that we’ll see much of him on the pitch in the weeks ahead. The best case scenario would be to get him fit and scoring a few goals before trying to sell him on. The supporters dererved so much more Duk!

You would have a fit and motivated Duk in the team before Sokler, Mpape and Ambrose.

Whether that becomes a reality in the coming weeks remains to be seen.

The club handled the situation well, whilst Duk made an @rse of himself and comes back with a lot to prove.

He will definitely be gone soon and you would like to think he has a bit of motivation to do well and get himself a move off the back of good performances.

I'd like to see Duk play in a Thelin team.

I did not see that coming. Really not sure how to feel about it. Surely can’t be good for team harmony.

Let’s see if he applies himself.

Back with his tail between his legs then.

Well played AFC. Took no crap from this complete prima donna and stood our ground.

Mixed feelings on this one. He’s made an utter cünt of himself and let us all down, but a fully firing Duk is a big asset, so I’ll reserve judgement for a bit to see what he does.

My expectation is he’ll do fück all, but lets see.

Either way, all that humble pie isn’t gonna help him with his weight issues…

Normally I would say we should make him train alone and he shouldn't be allowed to pull on the coveted red jersey ever again.

However, everyone deserves a second chance, and if he is as contrite as he says he is, and his team-mates are happy to play alongside him again, then he should be given the chance to return to the first team.

    Too err is human…

No issue with him coming back in, although not fooling myself it’s anything other than he has no other option. Fair play to the club with how they’ve handled it.
You’d hope he’s learned his attitude will have to be right to earn his next move.

But my forgiveness will be withdrawn if he’s a mopey draa’rs though.
