Yup, looking at top half / playoffs at NL level they would be very good signings. I'm happy both have been released following our promotion, if we want top half L2 I don't think they have done enough and can cut it there.

We are very fortunate to have him at our club.
Agreed. Very good to read the LW statement.

Seemed like there's a glimmer of hope there, in terms of how he talked about next steps around 12:20.

How long do these decisions usually take to make? I imagine for some it's a no-brainer, while others will have other offers to consider.

Pretty much as I expected but was 50/50 on Rawlinson.
If we’d kept Vinny and Francis, I feel the best case scenario is they’d have proven to be as good as the players we already have so would be good squad additions. I’m hoping with any new signings, they’re improving the starting 11.

Interesting how he grouped Sam, Connell and JOB in a different group to Aaron, Kyle, Ruben & Jodi. One as contract offered and the other as “would love to keep”. Judging by Rubén’s tweet to Jodi yesterday, they won’t be playing in the same side together next season.

Pretty much what I expected, sad to see Vinny go as I think he definitely has something to offer to the team, the overall feeling when I read that article is how much of a gentleman LW is...the respect the players and fans have for him is totally deserved...simply can't wait for League 2 action now 😀

I think he split them out as SS, CR and JOB being kept almost as coaches and their presence in the dressing room rather than automatic starters.

The other group are definite starters, they are the ones we need to keep on the pitch.

As for Ruben's comment on twitter. Jones was tagged as Nathan Ashmore on a tweet and he was taking the urine because he's now a goalkeeper for Boreham Wood. He was also incredibly drunk!
