Indeed I did Phil, Brentford away in 2019, I think, together with Danny/Albionic 68. I corresponded with him about the meeting on here and via text. Nice bloke and nice day out (we won 1-0).

Great day out on the train, an away win and we all got absolutely smashed. Good job I was walking on a crutch that day 🤣 🤣 🤣 .
Yes, the perfect away day Dan’. We all could have used that crutch…

The first 5 seasons ( I think ) of Minder were the best one’s Thomas, the latter series filmed after Dennis Waterman left the programme were okay but not as good.

I’d suggest you search out The Professionals as well.

Late 70’s to early 80’s starting three great British actors, especially the late Lewis Collins.

I gained my love of the Ford Capri from watching this programme, the two detectives both raced around in them! 😍😎

There’s an excellent classic British movie from 1980 with Bob Hoskins and Helen Mirren you need to see called The Long Good Friday.

It’s about a London gangster who crosses the IRA…….it’s brutal and of it’s time, a fabulous movie.

How’s your holiday going mate, where are you at present?

Glad to hear that mate, weather not too bad either and looks okay ish going forward.

You’ve picked the best time to visit Cornwall, just be aware that they hold a hideous event called Boardmasters in Newquay and Watergate Bay on the second weekend of August every year, it attracts tens of thousands of t w a t s and the county becomes impossible to travel around in.

NEVER come that week or the week leading up to it.

Remember my tips, The Merrymoor pub and eaterie in Mawgan Porth, WAX or the beach restaurant at Watergate Bay and Watergate Bay itself for food and a nice vibe.

Watergate Bay is the most stunning bay in the U.K. for me.
