Oh dear it's all going pear shaped now and with Root and Brook only knocking 46 a piece, I can only see this going one way.....

OH NO.....Bairstow is out for leg before.....hang on....he's survived! Come on now England thats a get out of free jail card.

I think if we can get to about 300ish we will declare again and have a go at them this evening - Rain tomorrow will get involved.

Well that didn't go to plan did it pal? However, what a twist all afternoon as the Aussies set about us with a large grin on their face chasing
284 to win. When it got to 50 without loss I though oh s.hit we dropped a clanger here but then the bowlers, especially Broad, came up with the aces to dismiss Warner, c.ocky Labuschagne and super Smith it suddenly has midly swung in our favour.

All now looks well balanced, I'm not get too presumptuous on the outcome, for a good battle tomorrow. The weather like you say might have a play in it but the key is to getting rid of Khawaja early on so as to lessen the damage.

It's clear that bringing back Ali as good as he is, has caused him a bad medical issue with blisters and chaffing etc on his fingers. Let's hope he's not needed as much as expected. All to play for can't wait to watch it.

If I was a bookie I would make us evens and them 11/10 and that is only because we have runs on the board.

Couldn”t believe.yesterday how many times I heard how england was going to think about a declaration ….in these 20/20 tests nowadays maybe days have gone when Graham gooch and Alec Stewart just used to pad up for a session…..suppose it’s high stakes for england win and it”s worked..
