Daz Moore ehh, well for a start I think it's awful what the Fowls have done to him. If be pleased if we went for him, and it helps more that he used to play for us and was a likeable professional.
I think Moore would be perfect for your lot Acido.

I can't blame Duffer for moving on, but knowing that they'll jump ship at the first better offer why do they come out with all the BS when they take the job in the first place. Why can't they just say, 'Sometime in the future I'm going to leave for another club or get sacked, and in the meantime I'll give it 100% and do the best I can', and leave it at that.

Why not just be honest ?

That is more or less what SD said throughout his time at Burnley Football Club. What else can a manager really say?

They always seem to find something that can come back to bite them on the bum. They're like politicians really, habitual liars, they can't help themselves.

I don't exactly blame Duffer for leaving, but I also honestly think he's a twohat for doing so!.
Its understandable though, and I'm sure we'd all do the same to put bread on the table, etc.
I understand it, but I sure as hell don't like it!. 😩

As for the typical managerial stinky BS, yeah they all come out with it don't they. 💩
Shaun O'Dismal did it to us when we offered him the job in Jan '13. We'd recently sacked the cowboy Keeef Hill after a boxing day home loss to the Bastido Rovers lol, and he'd also just been sacked by Notts Florist.
He said the usual thanks and appreciation to us for the offer, and that he was flattered etc. But he needed some time away from footy, and he had some personal/private things to sort out (with Notts Florist I'm guessing).
That all sounded understandable of course, but a few weeks later he took the job at Brizzle City.
What a lying rat (and I haven't forgot about it, as you can tell lol). 😲

That's not a clever thing to post Alf mate.
And hey, that was when he/Hunter was at Leeds, NOT with us at Burnsley!. 🤕

I've never forgotten when Frank Cssper was manager, there was a Tuesday night game, two players were having late fitness tests and Frank said they wouldn't be playing unless they were 100% fit. Of course they both played and after Frank said they'd done well as they were both only 80% fit. I've never believed a word any manager has said since. They say whatever suits them at any given moment.

Sorry Acido,I forgot to add on the end "At least he's dead, so I can now try and forget about that horror tackle that ended Frank's career." Not once did he apologise to Casper for that tackle.. He was a despicable dirty ******* who wasn't fit to be called a footballer.
