To be honest, the first time I saw him I was shocked at how poor he was. He must have shown Vinni something in Belgium so maybe the move over here has thrown him completely and he needs time to adjust, in which case loan him out, you don't get time to adjust to the PL, you can either hack it or you can't.

I've told you before mon ami, I've played with better centre-forwards than this lad. I honestly wondered if the Belgians had sent us the wrong player. He looks lost to me, but hopefully with a decent pre-season under his belt he might prove his detractors (and there are many) wrong.

We live in hope.

I would not have thought that we can afford to pay the money that allegedly we did for Foster and then send the player out on loan.

We have to be realistic, if he's going to be a liability in the PL, it's the best option.

He's back now, in training with us, kissed and made up with his team mates, and says he's looking forward to playing for us in the PL.
