    Matthew and Son was the 1st album I bought back in 1967, big Cat fan back in the day, me.


    Ist single was Death Of a Clown by Dave Davies, same year I think.

    I'd like to say my first single was something cool like John Kongos - He's Gonna Step On You Again, although it's one I bought it wasn't the first. My first single was Gasoline Alley Bred by The Hollies.

    When my grandad introduced me to football, when I was about 7, by taking me to Notts one week and the Red Dogs the next, Matthew and Son was the first record/song that stuck in my brain, played every time I was dragged to Rushcliffe Rovers
