Just a suggestion Animal.

The original 3 hour rule was brought in to not disadvantage those travelling to the match not being aware of late illness or other developments that may have influenced their prediction.

That was some years ago and the boom in smart phone ownership, even amongst us old gits, means fans are up to speed wherever they are.

i would suggest the main factor now giving some fans an advantage is the team that is announced one hour before kick off so I would suggest the deadline is changed to 65 minutes before kick off.

The Ding's plea is for you to decide. Much as I like Dings I would reluctantly say invalid as it would set a precedent where other requests would require equal treatment. I'm sure Dings will understand and appreciate that, even though it will cost him a point.
