The present value of the club has to be significantly lowered along with its projections going forward. As this is a sadly a results driffent sport, that of course means losing games consistently.
I would prefare that then Lai get a penny of his money back.
Difficult for some to take but would be best in my view.
    I do agree Dubs.

Such a fall for us should lead to a new dawn and some years of excitement as we fight our way back under sound stewardship.

Hitting rock bottom can have a positive side.

Wouldn’t be the worst thing would it. Leeds utd had a few years of clawing themselves back, as have a few others. Trying to be a Premier side is all a bit long distance thinking now. Survival and rebuilding is the main thing.

By all accounts, things are really bad, maybe even worse than we all feared.
Could well believe this! Rightly or wrongly ( not suggested breaking the law ) - protests only work if they turn nasty without getting out of hand!

Shining a mobile is laughable as it needs a mass sit in or something, Some will then say a financial negative with stewarding etc but that’s peanuts to the bigger picture!

Is nomark Miles taking a pay cut to lead by example? Will he hell but ok for players to be sold off!

I can honestly see Carlos walking as why would he want the stress and financial restraints?

    What a mess!

Given our dire financial situation, as I posted earlier and as several others have pointed out, it is pretty obvious that any potential buyer only has to bide their time and wait for the asking price for the club to tumble even further. In the meantime, with no recruitment, we will be lucky to remain mid table but if administration happens then a fire sale will be likely and we will surely slide far further down- if we manage to avoid virtually disappearing completely.

The only tiniest sliver of hope is that whilst it is true that any potential buyer could save themselves millions by waiting before buying it would also mean that they would have to spend much -if not all-of such a saving on rebuilding the club and working our way slowly back. The process could take years.

Rather than invest such time and money in a long term project, maybe it is possible that any potential buyer might think it a quicker turn around process to spend more money now whilst we still have championship status with the aim of getting promotion next season if not this? Or maybe this is just wishful thinking? Its just that whilst the purchase price will be higher as will the wage bill surely any club that wants to ultimately aim for sustainable premiership status needs an owner with deep pockets. Or do we settle for one with far less money and life in League one?
